Our School

PTA

What is the PTA?

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an open community of Parent Volunteers, who work alongside the School and Teachers. It’s aim is to raise extra funds, that the School may not have been able to raise otherwise. The funds will be used to benefit the School.

How Does the PTA Benefit the School?

  • We raise money through activities and events to supplement funds for School initiatives.
  • We provide a social support network for Parents
  • We provide volunteers and opportunities so that Parents can support their child’s learning

How Can You help?

There are many PTA activities to help with – from fundraising to social media, from baking to helping with raffle donations.

Any Parent can be a member – You can of course volunteer to be a committee member and come along to PTA meetings or just help out with events – we always need new members and would love to meet you all.

Support for our events is just as important – if you come along to an event – we aim to make it fun and flexible, this is how we can build on our School community.

We appreciate the pressures of family and work and are very grateful for any time that you can spare.

Family, Work, PTA…we have to strike a happy balance. With more volunteers the PTA can work more Effectively, be stronger and better.

More hands make less work…
